ANKARA (QHA) -

Turkish and Saudi Arabian leaders agreed to coordinate efforts and hold consultations on the situation in the region, and particularly in Syria. They also discussed the agenda of the 13th Summit of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation due to be held in Istanbul. Other important matters under discussion included mutual investment, strengthening of economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, fight with terrorism and ensuring security.

It was reported earlier that Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi is now in Ankara on an official visit. Prior to his meeting with Recep Erdogan, which was held at the Presidential Palace, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi received a Turkish state award from the Turkish President.
