Turkish Air Force launched strikes on Kurdish rebels

The Turkish Air Force has launched strikes on positions of the Kurdistan Workers' Party rebels, Turkish military command reported on Tuesday.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, a total of 17 targets have been hit in the area bordering on Iraq and Iran in the Turkish province of Hakkari.

The air strikes were launched next day after a series of bloody attacks swept across Turkey. Ankara held Kurdish rebels responsible for the attacks.
