Baku (QHA) - The issue of creating a free trade zone by Turkic speaking countries will be discussed during the Baku summit of the heads of states from Turkic speaking countries on August 15-16, reports Trend.
The special focus of the summit will be paid to the project of creation free economic zones and abolishing customs duties between member states.
“If the leaders of member-states make common decision, we will do our best to legalize it.” – stated Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TURKPA) Ramil Hasanov.
TurkPA was established in Baku 2009. The main goal of TURKPA is the mutual support of Turkic-speaking countries in international organizations, exchange of experience of legislative work, preservation of the language, culture and history of the Turkic-speaking countries, the strengthening of political, economic and cultural ties between member-states of the organization.
Members of TurkPA are Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kirgizstan.
