Turkey has agreed on Ukrainian broadcasting frequencies, which will be carried from Genichesk district of Kherson region to the Russian-annexed Crimea from the new telecommunications tower located near the Chongar checkpoint. Again, Turkey acted as an ally of Ukraine in this matter, a member of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting Sergey Kostinsky stated.
"I want to say that among those countries that have coordinated these frequencies is Turkey. So, they acted as our allies in this regard," Kostinsky said during the construction of the tower.
The second section of the tower 150 meters high that will enable Ukrainian television and radio broadcasting on the Russian-occupied peninsula was erected on December 2.
