Russia has all chances to lose Turkey as an ally, reports Daily Sabah citing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting with Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel.

The Head of Turkey slammed Russia for violating Turkish airspace and said that the country wouldn’t accept Russia’s violations and wouldn’t stay calm and patient.

- Any attack against us is considered as an attack against NATO, said Erdogan.

The president also said that cooperation with Russia could suffer if such violations to occur in future.

Earlier on, Turkey called Russian Ambassador for an explanation over the second violation of its airspace dated Oct. 4.
