On June 7, the Turkish Parliament approved a law that allows deployment of Turkish soldiers at a base in Qatar, the Reuters agency reported.

240 deputies representing the ruling Justice and Development Party and the opposition Nationalist Movement Party voted in support of this law.

It should be noted that the establishment of the Turkish military base in Qatar is stipulated by the agreement on strengthening bilateral cooperation signed by the parties in 2014.

Earlier, QHA reported that the kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Libya, Maldives, Comoros and Mauritius broke diplomatic relations with Qatar. The countries accuse the emirate of destabilizing the situation and financing the terrorists of the "Islamic State" and "al-Qaeda."

For the normalization of diplomatic and economic relations with Qatar, a list of necessary requirements has already been prepared.
