Kyiv is ready to cooperate with Ankara on joint production of aircrafts, Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman said at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim in Ankara.
"Turkey and Ukraine have good technological infrastructure, and if we join forces, we can successfully establish joint production of aircraft," Groysman said.
According to him, Ukraine and Turkey before the end of this year intend to develop an agreement on a free trade zone, mutual protection of investments, and on avoiding double taxation. It is expected to increase bilateral trade and facilitate the movement of capital.
“In 2016, the turnover between the two countries amounted to 3.1 billion dollars. With the necessary effort, we can achieve a figure of $ 20 billion," Groysman says.
The Head of Ukrainian government noted that the Ukrainian authorities seek to create all the necessary conditions for Turkish entrepreneurs investing in the country's economy.
