Luhansk region will reintegrate into Ukraine quicker since its residents have a more loyal attitude to the Ukrainian authorities, said Deputy Minister on the Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, Georgiy Tuka.

Tuka went on saying that while occupying a post of a Chairman of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, the first time he was afraid to walk the streets of a town of Severodonetsk in the evening and "expected the separatists to stab something in his back."

- But these feelings have gone away. There's not so much separatism as it seems to us in Kiev. I'm sure it will be much easier to return Luhansk region of Donbas than Donetsk as people are more loyal to the Ukrainian authorities there, Tuka said in an interview with "Gordon."

Tuka stressed that the only way to return the occupied territories is a political and military approach, consisting in strengthening the Ukrainian army and putting a constant pressure on Russia, while offensive operations by the Ukrainian military aimed at taking back the occupied territories can only trigger a full-scale war with Russia.
