WASHINGTON (QHA) -
In an interview with the Russian publication, Carter Page, the Advisor to the US President Donald Trump Election Staff,  called the levels of misinformation on the issue of recognition the occupied Crimea as Russian, "catastrophic".

“I'm sure there will be new opportunities to overcome these misconceptions and wrong vector, which was established in Ukraine,” the representative of the US newly elected President said.

Earlier, QHA reported, that in November, in an interview with Russian media, Putin's press secretary Peskov said that Russia "is ready to give time to the West" for the recognition of the annexed Crimea as Russian. Moreover, he proposed to the 45 US President "to defuse tensions in Europe" slowing down the expansion of NATO.
