WASHINGTON -

The US should work with their allies around the world for the elimination of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (ISIS), the President of the United States Donald Trump said in his first speech in Congress.

“As promises, I directed the Department of Defense to develop a plan to demolish and destroy ISIS - a network of lawless savages that have slaughtered Muslims and Christians and men and women and children of all faiths and all beliefs.”

The US President said that his country would cooperate with all the friends and allies, including those in the Muslim world, to defeat the terrorists.

Trump said that from his first day in the office he has taken important steps in the field of economy and promised to take measures to ensure the security of the country. In particular, the US defense spending rose.

“I am sending the Congress a budget that rebuilds the military, eliminates the Defense sequester, and calls for one of the largest increases in national defense spending in American history,” Trump said.

In addition, the President assured that the alliance of the United States and Israel is unbreakable.

“I have also imposed new sanctions on entities and individuals who support Iran's ballistic missile program, and reaffirmed our unbreakable alliance with the State of Israel..”

Speech Trump lasted about an hour and was followed by a storm of applause.
