The consideration of appeal against the extension of detention for the Crimean Tatars arrested in Bakhchysarai on May 12, 2016 is to be held in Simferopol today, July 21, at 1 pm.

Enver Mamutov, Zevri Abseitov, Rustem Abiltarov and Remzi Memetov are charged with "organizing a terrorist organization and participation in its activities" (Article 205.5. Parts 1 and 2 of the RF Criminal Code).

The next hearing with regard to the Crimean Muslims Ruslan Zeytullaev, Rustem Vaitov, Yuri (Nuri) Primov and Ferat Seyfullaev, accused of involvement in the "Hizb ut-Tahrir" organization prohibited in Russia, will be held in Rostov-on-Don (Russia) at 3 pm, a lawyer Edem Semedlyaev wrote on his Facebook page.

Four Crimean Tatars have been transported from Crimea to Rostov-on-Don. Their case has been heard in the North Caucasus District Military Court since June 1.

The so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir" case has become a hallmark of the FSB struggle against the dissident Muslims in Crimea. The security forces burst into houses, conduct illegal searches and detentions under the pretext of suspicion of terrorism calling their repressive operations as combating extremism.
