Oct. 6, the Kiev International Airport (Zhulyani) has not permitted Transaero Russian Airlines to perform Kiev - Moscow flight in connection with its debt to the airport.
The airport staff has detained a plane owned by Russian companies. All flights have been canceled since the company owes the Kiev Airport USD 649.254 thousand. However, later it turned out that Russian airlines have cleared part of its financial liability having paid USD 127.485 thousand in July.
The Russian leadership has decided to declare Transaero a bankrupt as of Oct.1, but the company was unable to provide its services in any way since Ukraine has imposed sanctions on Russian Airlines, which will come into effect as of Oct. 25, 2015.
