Director of the Penta Center for Applied Political Studies Volodymyr Fesenko told about the peculiarities of a new political season start and weapon used in a peaceful area in order to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.
This weapon is nothing else but a struggle of political interests, conflicts in the power structure, destabilizing the situation in the middle of the country.
The events of Aug. 31 2015 outside the Verkhovna Rada were a warning saying it’s unacceptable for political parties to use such situations to achieve their selfish goals, reported Fesenko at a press conference ‘The threats and challenges of a new political season’ Sept. 10 in Kiev.
The current coalition, according to the expert, is "a marriage of convenience, without any feelings."
As for its future fate, there is concern for Fatherland Party or Self Help Party or both of them not to be tempted to provoke early parliamentary elections. But this is wrong. Early elections in the current circumstances is a mistake that will only sour the already precarious situation in the country. But still today's weak coalition has all the chances to seriously shake the power structure.
The expert believes that the political forces consider the local elections as a springboard and a provocation for "new" early parliamentary elections. The only question is- will they succeed to preserve political stability under war conditions?
