Temirgaliev is not running in Crimea Parliament elections

Advisor of the Crimean Premier, former Deputy Premier of Crimea Rustam Temirgaliev will not run in Parliament elections set for September 14, he wrote this on Facebook.

“Most frequent questing I’ve been asked in recent times is whether I will run in September 14 Parliament elections and what political party I will represent. No, my friends, I will not. I have another plans, I will be useful for country working in executive government”- he said.

Parliament elections will take place in September 14. These will be the first elections since Crimean unification with Russia.

According to chairman of Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, the elections will be conducted according to a mixed system. Fifty deputies will be elected on party lists and 25 in majority constituencies

Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people made a decision to boycott the elections.
