DAMASCUS (QHA) -

The Syrian opposition is boycotting the peace talks brokered by the UN because of Russian air strikes hitting Syrian positions, reports AFP citing the statement by the National Coalition of Syrian Opposition and the Revolutionary Forces.

According to the opposition, end to the Russian aggression is a condition necessary for the continuation of talks.

The opposition also demands that Assad not to be involved in the creation of a transitional Syrian government.

- Russian aggression violates international law and supports the Assad’s regime in the murder of civilians, war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, as said in a statement by Syria.
