Federal Road Agency’s Administration of Federal Highways “Taman” and Stroygasmontazh LLC have signed a state contract for designing and construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait, says press center of Russia’s Federal Road Agency.
Immediately upon signing of the contract Stroygasmontazh LLC commences elaboration of design documentation and preliminary works on construction of the Kerch Bridge.
According to RF Government order, road traffic in the standard operating mode and temporary operation of the railway should be launched in December 2018 while the commissioning of the facilities and completion of the state contract is scheduled for June 30, 2019.
Demolition of temporary buildings, gardening and landscaping operations as well as precommissioning should be completed by that time.
247 billion rubles were granted for the construction of a bridge over the Kerch Strait within the framework of the federal purpose program for socio-economic development of Crimea, according to RIA Novosti.
