MOSCOW (QHA) -

The presidential candidate of Russia, TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak believes that the poverty of Russians is directly connected with the annexation of the Crimea in 2014.

According to her, people do not see this connection yet.

“I will explain to people why they have less money, why the basic food basket is not affordable to the majority. Make the old people understand the connection between the Crimea and the fact that there is less money ... Yet people do not see this connection. They think that the Crimea and the problems go separate from each other," Sobchak said.

In her opinion, at the moment Russia also lacks "stability".

“The stability promised to us is not observed. What stability can we talk about, if we are waging two wars. Our population has impoverished over the past five years, the ruble exchange rate has shifted twofold. This has happened, in part, due to the geopolitics that our state is pursuing," Sobchak stated.

Earlier, a team of political technologist Aleksei Sitnikov left the pre-election headquarters of the TV presenter and journalist Ksenia Sobchak, who announced her intention to run for the presidency of Russia
