Smartphones and tablets banned in Kazakh government

The government of Kazakhstan has introduced a ban on the use of mobile gadgets in all government buildings.

The ban will apply to all gadgets without exception. According to the Ukrainian service of the BBC, the relevant document reads that a large amount of confidential information enters the public domain via WhatsApp mobile messenger.

Among the confidential information leaked through the messenger: Presidential instruction to the government, a list of companies subject to privatization and letters of resignation. It is also noted that the ban applies not only for smartphones and tablets, but also for smartwatches.

It was reported earlier that Facebook banned private gun sales.
