Friends of the Russia-backed terrorist Ivan Korolkov who has been slain in the Eastern Ukraine installed a memorial tablet in his courtyard in the village of Ozerki, Altai Krai. Eight trees have been planted nearby - the number of Altai natives killed in the Donbas war.

The initiators of the memorial for a regional organization of Afghanistan veterans and other local wars called it "the first Russian commemorative plaque in honor of the fallen hero of New Russia," reports BBC Russian news agency.

The Russian Federation continues refuting all evidence of its regular army’s presence in the Eastern Ukraine, but confirms Russian volunteers participate in the hostilities.
