September 8, 2015. The situation in Donbas is worsening, with regular flow of militants and weapons from the Russian Federation, stated in the report of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, presented by Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
“The situation in Ukraine is getting worse due to combat operations continuing in some regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and according to some reports, due to providing support for presence and influx of foreign militants, latest weapons and ammunition from the Russian Federation,” stated in the report.
The UN Commissioner also expressed concern over the white trucks convoy that Russia keeps on sending to the east of Ukraine without official permission of the country and possibility to verify the content of the vehicles. It is also impossible to monitor the exact destination of the truck and cargo.
