A conference "Massive human rights violations in occupied Crimea" has been launched within the framework of a meeting of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars, held in the Lithuanian Parliament building.

During the international conference, the Belarusian politician Stanislav Shushkevich addressed the audience and thanked the Crimean Tatar people for preserving their culture. Shushkevich stressed that in Belarus, the Crimean Tatars kept up their culture and traditions even in the hardest times. Back then the Belarusian politician could not understand why some people were speaking ill of the Crimean Tatars.

- I am a Russophile, I love Russians, but I am a Kremlin-phobe. That's what I said at the conference in Moscow: I hate this authority who is currently sitting there. And I'm asking you - save the humanity and kindness that are inherent in you, said Stanislav Shushkevich.
