“In the wake of an attack on Inna Sovsun, Deputy Minister of Education, her personal security will be tightened, Oleg Derevyanko, “ First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, is reported as saying.

At the moment the shooting took place, only Sovsun’s driver was in the car, while Sovsun herself was in her office. “They suggested that security, and especially that of the Deputy Minister’s, be stepped. And it will be until police investigation is over,” Derevyanko said.

The shooter is reported to have been held up by now.
