KYIV (QHA) -

Mikheil Saakashvili, Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, claimed that the new procedure of customs clearance, approved by Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine, and supported by Roman Nasirov, head of the State Fiscal Service, has had a negative impact on business.

The new governor of Odessa considers that the State Fiscal Service is once again carrying out pseudoreformes instead of establishing fair rules of the game.

“The Prime Minister signed a resolution stipulating that all goods are subject to custom clearance not at their actual prices (according to the Customs Code), but at prices predetermined by the Fiscal Service,” Saakashvili posted on his Facebook page.

The governor of Odessa believes that such actions mean the ignorance of the interests of importers. He also added that the customs clearance is currently ‘paralyzed’.
