Supporters of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili were able to pull him out of the car.

Saakashvili made a statement in which he said that Ukrainians should continue the peace process to rid the country from the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

"Do not be afraid, they should be afraid of us, we should not be afraid," he said.

At the moment, Saakashvili heads a column that moves towards the government quarter.

Earlier, people started erecting the barricades on European Square, where clashes took place between supporters of the detained Mikheil Saakashvili and law enforcement agencies. According to the journalist, among the crowd there was a proposal to disassemble the cobblestone.
