September 3, the Russian submarines Kilo and Finik classes were spotted 10 nautical miles away from the border of the Latvia's territorial waters. The Russian Navy corvette Parchim class was detected at the 22 nautical miles distance.
September 4, a warship SS-750 Kashtan class was as well located 20 miles away.
Moreover, the Latvian armed forces spotted a Russian plane TU-134 and two fighter aircrafts Su-27 over the Baltic Sea neutral waters.
