Russian Defense Minister Shoigu arrived in Crimea

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu arrived in Crimea, where he checked functioning of some objects and military garrisons of the Black Sea Fleet, according to Vesti.ua.

Shoigu met with Prime Minister Sergey Aksyonov, Parliament Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov and Mayor of Sevastopol Aleksey Chaliy. During the meeting, issues of cooperation to provide development of social infrastructure of the Fleet were discussed. 

Crimean and Sevastopol authorities explained the situation in the region, noting that “in general the situation is clam, people are engaged in routine work activities”.
