MOSCOW (QHA) -

The directive "On intention of the Russian Federation not to become a party to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court," issued by President Vladimir Putin, has appeared on the Russia’s legal information official website.

According to the directive, Russia refuses to participate in the investigation of the International Court, including the investigation into the tragedy of MH17 airliner, and sheds direct responsibility for offenses that have already been recorded in the minutes of the public Prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal Fatou Bensouda on the criminal offenses committed by Russia in the annexed Crimea and on the occupied territories of Donbas.

Among others, the report of the International Court in The Hague showed such crimes committed by Russia on the territory of the occupied Crimea as kidnapping, illegal detention and torture.
