The Russian Armed Forces may launch strikes on ISIS militants from the territory controlled by the Syrian government if the United States declines to coordinate its actions with Russia.

Putin also suggests forming a coalition with Syria, Iraq and Kurds to fight the terrorists.

The satellite imagery released earlier revealed sites where Russian military installations are being built, including one at an airfield in the town port of Latakia. Russia is alleged to have stationed there Su-25 assault aircrafts, twelve Su-24М bomber planes, four Su-30SМ jet fighters and helicopter gunships.
