MOSCOW (QHA) -

The second regiment of anti-aircraft missile systems S-400 "Triumph" will be stationed on combat duty in the Russian-occupied Crimea in the second half of 2017, according to a pro-Kremlin "Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union", citing its own sources in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation:

“Air defense of the Crimea  will be strengthened by the second regiment of S-400 in the second half of 2017. It will be stationed in the western part of the peninsula.”

In 2018 the Russian Defense Ministry also plans to include the third division into the two missile regiments stationed in the Crimea.

Earlier, on January 13, the occupation forces of the Russian Federation at the Crimea officially launched on combat duty an anti-aircraft missile regiment, armed with a system "Triumph".
