The State Duma of Russia adopted the corresponding bill with amendments to the law "On the Federal Budget for 2017 and the Planning Period 2018-2019" in the second reading on June 16, the Center for Journalistic Investigations reports. The message says:
“The amendments provide for 210 million rubles of appropriations to support two broadcasting organizations, members of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), established to operate in the Crimea and Sevastopol.”
It is also known that 5 million rubles (About 2.2 million UAH) are to be allocated to complete two non-feature films about the Crimea in accordance with another amendment.
Earlier QHA reported that in 2016, the Russian-occupied Crimea exported goods for $ 47.65 million, which is 19 times less than in 2013.
