According to an expert with IHS Jane's, a British think tank, the fact that Russia is beefing up its military presence in Syria means it is gearing up for a full-scale war in the Middle East. The expert backs up his claim with the satellite imagery in which tents commonly used by Russian troops are discernible.

“It looks like Russia has finally made up its mind to enter into a tripartite conflict involving ISIS on the one side and anti-ISIS coalition members headed by the US on the other,” an analyst with the Wall Street Journal says.
