Most of Russia’s territory should be returned to Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said this in an interview with local TV station, referring to Moscow’s arguments that claim that Crimean peninsula had always been a part of Russia and now has rejoined with it.
“Most of today’s Russian lands belonged to Kazkhstan and Mongolia since the age old times of Khan Batey. Therefore now this land must be returned to its historical roots. This is the logical outcome of Russia’s arguments for its annexation of Crimea”- Lukashenko noted.
Crimea made a decission to secede from Ukraine and was annexed by Russia in March, following local referendum on region's status. The annexation, however, was not recognized by Kyiv and Western countries, who believe that Crimea remains a part of Ukraine.
