Russia has sent a request to the French Ministry of Defense where asks to officially explain the failure to send the "Mistral" helicopter carriers, announced a senior official from the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia (FSMTC).
"The FSMTC has sent a request to the DGA (French Defence Ministry's department, which sells weapon - Ed.) in order to get an official answer on this issue," - announced the Russian representative, while commenting the situation to RIA Novosti.
Moreover, according to him, Russia is not satisfied with the "statements of some politicians," meaning the French Supreme Commander – Francois Hollande.
