MOSCOW (QHA) -

The Kremlin will not allow observers of the OSCE SMM to enter the occupied Crimea, said Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich as cited by RIA-Novosti.

According to him, the Mission is not authorized to work in the peninsula.

The OSCE SMM works in Ukraine, but not in Crimea. Crimea is the territory of Russia. We have already discussed that the Mission stands clear of Crimea as a part of the Russian Federation. But our Western colleagues interpret it as the territory of Ukraine, said Lukashevich.

As QHA reported earlier, the representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Vladimir Yelchenko said that the OSCE, the UN Mission and the "Red Cross" have sent requests to Russia seeking entry to the annexed Crimea.

The UN Security Council also held a closed meeting regarding Russian provocations in Crimea. The Russian security services said they disclosed in the city of Armyansk a group of saboteurs who killed a Russian FSB officer when being detained.

In addition, the FSB announced the "liquidation of the Ukrainian intelligence network."

The fake statements also say the "subversive and terrorist groups tried to break" in the peninsula.

The Intelligence Directorate with the Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said charges of the Russia's FSB are fake.
