(QHA) -

Russian Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev announced that Russia's economic crisis is caused by "external pressure, which was inspired by political decisions" taken by the Russian leadership.

This has been announced by Dmitriy Medvedev at a meeting of the Russian Government.

According to PM Medvedev, the decision about “joining” Crimea was a "conscious choice" of not only Russian leadership, but also the entire Russian people.

"We, as responsible leaders, understand the price we have to pay," – announced PM Medvedev, commenting on Crimea’s unification with Russia.

Anti-crisis measures, due to "structural problems of the economy", and in particular, the collapse of oil prices and sanctions from the West will cost 1.3 trillion rubles, which Russian leadership is going to spend to support its economy.
