The Ukrainian government will make every effort to return Crimea to Ukraine and protect the country against armed aggression, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reports.

“The issue of a military aggression against Ukraine and non-recognition of the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol remains high on the agenda of international contacts and governs the relations between our partners and the Russian Federation,” says the report.

It is also noted that any cooperation with the so-called power of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol was stopped.

“The Foreign Ministry promptly and adequately responds to the Crimean illegal government contacts with foreign partners,” the report confirms.

The government also claims it has succeeded ‘in significantly decreasing the number of pro-Russian states and making their identification more efficient.’ All of this was made possible due to effective cooperation with international organizations.

“A set of measures has been implemented to ensure the most effective application of all instruments of the OSCE, the UN and the Council of Europe to strengthen the respect for the principles of democracy, rule of law, good governance, human rights and fundamental freedoms, including the rights of national minorities in Ukraine,” the report says.
