Refat Chubarov, Chairman of Mejlis of Crimean Tatars, stated in his comment to QHA news agency that the blockade has yielded the first results: the Crimea’s occupation issue has drawn attention of international community, and Mejlis has taken the initiative to negotiate with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), namely with Germany representatives, on the return of Crimea under the control of Ukraine.

According to Refat Chubarov, political pressure on Crimean Tatars, as well as their intimidation and arrests continue. As of today, Mejlis has information about seven Crimean Tatar prisoners.
