Meeting that took place on Feb.26 outside Crimean Parliament is over.
Extraordinary session of Crimean Parliament that was planned on Feb.26 was canceled amid thousands of protesters in Simferopol demanded the session to be abolished. At the session Crimean MPs reportedly planned to raise the question of Crimea's secession from Ukraine.
Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov announced the rally is over and called activists to go home.
“I thank our Russian neighbors, those who awaken their dignity. We should understand that we are all equal. There is no domination culture, nation or religion in Crimea - he stressed. I urge you, my friends, to stay calm, organize and go home. We will tell everyone that Crimea has won!”- Chubarov noted.
Now people are dispersing.
