A rally against Russia's intervention in the Syrian conflict is to be held Saturday in Moscow, reports the BBC Russian service.

- Since 2014 the Solidarity Block has conducted regular rallies against Putin's policy towards Ukraine. And now, again, "thanks" to Putin's policy, the theme is expanding. There is a need to conduct a separate anti-war rally, say the organizers.

The unregistered December 5 Party has acted as a co-organizer of the rally.

Moscow Mayor's Office agreed to hold the rally at Suvorov Square Oct.17.
