Members of newly created social movement “Qirim” plan to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The initiator of “Qirim” Remzi Ilyasov announced this during a press-conference in Simferopol.

“There is a proposal that is already approved: to select a group of people and appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin to listen to these people and their proposals”- he said.

To recall, deputy chairman of Crimean Parliament Remzi Ilyasov, initiates creation of Crimean Tatar social movement “Qirim”, supported by local and federal authorities, that will deal with the issues of Crimean Tatar people.

According to Ilyasov, “Qirim” is not created as an alternative to Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people.

The “Qirim” organization is supposed to be represented in Russian cities of Moscow, Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Bashkortostan, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and St. Petersburg.  

Meanwhile deputy head of Crimea Ahtem Chiygoz announced that Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people--executive body of Crimean Tatars-- was not going to register as a civil organization.
