Russian President Vladimir Putin is to arrive in Crimea on Mach 18 to check on the bridge construction progress over the Kerch Strait.

Putin will also meet with members of the Crimean government to discuss social and political development of Crimea.

“On March 18, Vladimir Putin is to arrive on a working visit in the Crimean Federal District. As part of the visit, he will visit a construction site of a bridge over the Kerch Strait on Tuzla Island. Putin will also meet with members of the Crimean government to discuss social and political development of Crimea,” says a statement published on the Kremlyn’s website.

It was reported earlier that it would take building a dam in the Sea of Azov to construct a bridge over the Kerch Strait.
