PETERSBURG (QHA) -

The Crimean issue and the position of the Crimean Tatar people in the occupied peninsula have not been mentioned in any of the statements by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan or Vladimir Putin during their meeting in St. Petersburg.

Allegedly, the Crimean issue, as well as the Syrian, was discussed behind the closed doors.

Answering the question of the Turkish journalist of Anadolu Agency on Syria, both Presidents said that this issue would be discussed after the press conference together with representatives of Law Enforcement agencies and Special Services of the two countries.

As QHA reported earlier, on Tuesday, August 9, the Presidents of Turkey and Russia held a first meeting in St. Petersburg following an ebb in bilateral relations.
