Putin and Berlusconi expected to arrive in Bakhchisaray

Russian President Purin and former Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi are expected to arrive in Bakhchisaray today, reports the QHA news agency.

The ‘VIP guests’ are scheduled to visit the Khan Palace today which is why it will be closed to general public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for what the museum personnel refer to as ‘cleanup’.

On September 11, 2015, Silvio Berlusconi arrived in Crimea for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Together they laid flowers to the memorial of Italian soldiers who died fighting in the Crimean War in the 19th century, as well as visited vine cellars of Massandra vine-making company where sampled different vines, reports russian.rt.com
