MOSCOW (QHA) -

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin made amendments to the decree governing the work of the Russian Federal Security Service, thereby giving security officials the right to seize land plots for state needs. Earlier, the Head of the Kremlin gave this right to the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation.

“…Amend, complementing item 9 with subitem 73 of the following content: Takes decisions within its authority on the seizure of land plots and (or) real property located on them for the state needs of the Russian Federation”, reads the document.

Earlier QHA reported that the Russian authorities allocated 200 thousand hectares of land in Crimea to the “Artek” federal institution (children camp), including the areas in the city of Gurzuf and intend to evict those residents, whose lands and houses came under control of “Artek”.
