Protesters, who gathered outside the Cabinet of Ministers building on October 12, demanded that vaccines and medicines be purchased by international organizations.
According to the 112 TV Channel, the protesters brought with themselves containers with ink to get the Cabinet of Ministers’ officials to sign the documents authorizing international organizations to purchase vaccines and medicines. They also held placards urging the Prime Minister and Health Minister to throw their weight behind the initiative.
It was reported earlier that the Verkhovna Rada approved a law authorizing international organizations to purchase medicines and medical products. Under the law, medicine and medical products are to be purchased by medical experts.
