After the aggression in Georgia and Ukraine, Russia can switch to Poland and the Baltic countries. The Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki made a corresponding statement during a press conference in Vilnius on March 9.

“I reminded my colleagues of the words of President Lech Kaczynski who said in Tbilisi, that first it is Georgia, then Ukraine, and later there could be Poland and the Baltic countries. And indeed, without a doubt, we must be attuned peacefully, but at the same time not naive, and it is necessary to build and strengthen a transatlantic alliance on the eastern flank, which we are actively doing with our partners from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia,” he said.

Earlier QHA reported that Poland is in favor of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas, since it is important for its own security.
