President of Costa Rica was told about Russian aggression in Crimea

President of Costa Rican asked the Ambassador of Ukraine about situation on the Crimean peninsula.

Ambassador of Ukraine took part in the conference were President of Costa Rica L.G. Solis Rivera presented the government's report 2015. At the beginning of the event, the Ambassador of Ukraine had a brief meeting with the President of Costa Rica and told him about political situation in Ukraine, Russia's aggression in Crimea and in the East of Ukraine, as well as implementation of political and economic reforms by the Ukrainian government.

During his visit to Costa Rica, Ukrainian Ambassador to Mexico Ruslan Spirin, representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, held a meeting with the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in the Republic of Costa Rica O. Guerrero Vargas. As a result, they signed the agreement on duties and responsibilities that need to be fulfilled by Mr. Vargas Guerrero according to paragraphs ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’ and ‘e’ of Article 5 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations 1963.

Ambassador of Ukraine thanked L.G. Solis Rivera for consistent support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by Costa Rica. During the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries, including energy, trade and economic fields.
