President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev believes that sanctions against Russia are of no benefit. The Bulgarian President made a corresponding statement on Bulgarian BTV channel.
According to him, he will support "any act" on lifting sanctions against the Russian Federation. At the same time, Radev said that he can not initiate such decisions alone.
The Bulgarian President went on saying that he intends to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and discuss "many important issues."
Earlier, on March 13, the European Union extended economic sanctions against Russia, and in particular persons implicated in the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The United States will keep sanctions against Russia until it fulfills all the conditions of the Minsk agreements in the Donbas and returns the occupied peninsula to Ukraine.
