Ukrainian President visited the Ukrainian servicemen injured due to explosion of a grenade thrown at them outside the entrance to Verkhovna Rada building. The President mentioned the courage of soldiers protecting the law and justice in our country in spite of provocations on the part of inciters.
“I am proud that we have such a National Guard, which soldiers demonstrated with dignity their courage responding to terrible provocations outside the Verkhovna Rada building,” Petro Poroshenko said.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on to stress that "around 70% of the country’s population supports the amendments to the Constitution and war is not an excuse for not implementing reforms”.
The President noted that all soldiers are insured and families, who have suffered loss, will receive compensation of UAH 609, 000.
