Poroshenko visits wounded Ukrainian soldiers in Berlin

As part of his working visit to Germany, Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko has been to a hospital in Berlin where Ukrainian servicemen are undergoing treatment, reports the President’s official website

A total of 5 Ukrainians wounded in Donbass, including private Dmitriy Sereda of the 91st engineer regimen, private Vladymyr Storozhuk of the 93rd brigade, private Ivan Chaban, sergeant Igor Loboda and sergeant Alexey Godunov in Donbass, are currently being treated at the hospital.

The treatment is being provided free of charge as part of a deal reached between the German Federal Government and the Ukrainian President.

The President wished the soldiers soonest recovery, saying that Ukraine is looking forward to welcoming back her heroes.

“I’m proud of the heroes like you. We’re keeping our fingers crossed and praying for you. I see that you have a strong fighting spirit,” Poroshenko said.
